News and Notes

According to the 1998-99 Team Envelopes listed at the USFSA site, Erin has been named a member of International Team B for next season. She received two Junior Grand Prix Assignments; see below.

Check out Erin's USFSA Athlete Bio

She may not be a big star yet, but Erin's name has been in the news a few times. Here are some articles I found:

Detroit Free Press, 9/11/97: "Detroit Skating Club juniors aim for Lipinski's fame" --Short article about Erin Pearl and Erin Sutton trying to make the junior world team last September.

Detroit News, 10/19/97: "Coach to stars finds balance on ice"
--Mostly about Richard Callaghan, but contains a snippet about Erin and a few quotes from her mother.
